Dana Casullo, Media Relations & Influencer Coordinator
Dana Casullo brings a journalist’s eye and a storyteller’s heart to her role as a part-time Media Relations Coordinator at Newsmaker Marketing. Now based in Boston, Dana has been working in public relations for nearly three years, collaborating with a diverse range of clients across industries. Dana earned her master’s degree in Broadcast and Digital Journalism from the renowned S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University. She began her career as a dayside news reporter at ABC22 WVNY and FOX44 WFFF in Burlington, Vermont, where she covered everything from politics and public safety to inspiring human-interest stories. Her reporting highlights include interviews with state senators, musicians, athletes, and educators. One of her most memorable stories began with a roadside sign from a man searching for a kidney donor. Dana reached out, told his story, and helped him find a match. She later joined WPRI in Rhode Island as a breaking news morning reporter, covering high-intensity stories. But even amid the rush of breaking news, Dana was always drawn to stories that celebrated connection and community. Her transition into PR allowed her to continue telling those kinds of stories, this time on behalf of her clients. At Newsmaker Marketing, Dana helps brands craft compelling narratives and earn meaningful media coverage through strategic, thoughtful outreach.
Outside of work, Dana enjoys exploring Boston’s restaurant scene, skiing, practicing yoga and kickboxing, and making trips home to visit her family in Buffalo, New York.
