Jackie Bruno, Founder & CEO
Jackie began her career in 2008, when she secured her first on-air job at WWLP in Springfield as a field reporter, covering breaking news. After that, Jackie became the weekend anchor and morning reporter at New England Cable News where she secured exclusive stories. Jackie then helped launch NBC Boston in 2017 as the station’s entertainment and lifestyle reporter, securing countless interviews with local and national celebrities. Her work has been honored with three Emmy Awards, and countless nominations.
Jackie also started her own women’s network in 2020 to crowdsource life experience among working professional women. “The Connect-Her” now serves hundreds of women with local networking events and virtual programming.
All these achievements and experiences led Jackie to create Newsmaker Marketing in 2022. Following a successful career in news, Jackie took a step back from the spotlight to prioritize her mental health and well-being, which led her to create Newsmaker Marketing. (Read more about her journey in this Boston Magazine article).
When she’s not working, Jackie loves spending time with her three boys, Jack, James and her beloved shih tzu, Buddy. She splits her time between Massachusetts and Maine and loves exploring her hometown region of New England.

In her "free time," when she's not with her kids and husband or her Newsmaker family and clients, she enjoys doing yoga and taking walks to the ocean with her dog.
